“ PHENOMENAL! This may have been one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. We’re in town for a short vacation, and picked this place for breakfast this morning. Ended up getting it to go because there wasn’t room to dine in. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the containers after getting in the car. Here we thought bagels would travel well. (They were easy to eat with the forks though.) I had the Dory, which I will think about forever. My husband had the Elvis. He felt like his had too much peanut butter, but was still good. Mine was everything I didn’t know I needed. The staff were also friendly and the young dark haired guy with glasses at the register was especially friendly and welcoming. He took time to greet regulars by name and make kind conversation without holding up the line - that’s not an easy line to walk! My only critique was that there weren’t napkins in the to-go bag, but we had some in the car, so it was ok. If I’m ever back in St Augustine, I’m eating here for all my meals. ”
“ If you’re ever in Saint Augustine, make sure to stop by Sweetwater! The bagel sandwich I got was loaded and delicious along with the coffee. The vibe is awesome and could be great to work or study from or just hang out with friends! ”
“ I ordered the butterbeer latte with oatmilk and it was so yummy, not too sweet and good flavor, if you want to bump up the flavor, I'd recommend requesting extra flavor shots. My boyfriend ordered the spicy mocha latte and it was so different but delish! I nice heat at the end without taking away from the coffee taste. The atmosphere inside was so enjoyable, so much artwork, limited seating of course because it is on the smaller side but we just sat outside after the coffees we're ready. ”
“ WOW! Truly an amazing experience! From the stellar service of the staff and the owner himself - Michael, you are amazing! - the great atmosphere, quality of delicious food and fabulous coffee. There’s aren’t enough wonderful things to say. Michael made us feel right at home and we went 2 days in a row. The homemade cream cheese was delightful! If we hadn’t been driving almost five hours home I would’ve bought some. The prices were more than fair for the amazing quality of food, generous portion sizes, and abundant choices. I can’t wait to go back there again! I wish I lived in St. Augustine so I could go there every day! Truly an unbelievable experience all around. Thank you Michael and Staff!!! ”
“ AMAZING! From the service to the coffee to the food....AMAZING! We shared the Bikini Bottom with so much fresh juicy fruit we were speechless. The specialty Blackberry latte was yummy! The prices are so reasonable it was refreshing to have an affordable breakfast in a lovely environment with delicious food and drink. This place is a must! ”
“ We escaped the hurricane to St Augustine. I found this gem on the map while looking for bagels. I came in with my girlfriend and our 2 dogs. The first thing they did when they saw our dogs was give us a large portion of free bacon as treats. We ordered drinks and bagels. Everything was a 10/10. Super fresh ingredients. Massive portions. Just look at these pictures! ”
“ I went out to breakfast on a Sunday to the Sweetwater Coffee Bar and Gallery. For drinks, we ordered peach tea and a marshmallow latte. For breakfast I decided on the Bikini Bottom Special with eggos waffles, fresh strawberries, blueberries, bananas, whipped cream, and honey-vanilla cream cheese. The drinks, food, and service were all amazing! The Bikini Bottom special was the piece de resistance! It was decadent and fresh at the same time. I also enjoyed the gallery; I met the artist, Sloan Keats, who was excited to share her amazing art and the stories behind it. The whole experience was wonderful. ”
“ Great little place right by the college which seems to be a local favorite. This cozy little cafe may not have a lot of space inside, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in flavor. I can see that it’s a local favorite for good reason, the food is consistently delicious, fresh, and made with care. The owner seems personable and able to accommodate requests. They have some amazing coffee flavors! They definitely beat any chain coffee place in town. This place also hosts lots of cool artwork on the walls that can be purchased that adds to the unique atmosphere. It can get busy during peak hours, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. ”
